What is a Leadership Development Coach?

Leadership can come from anywhere in an organization.We all have innate leadership qualities that can be developed and nurtured through coaching and learning.

If you’re a leader or an aspiring leader, you need resilience, emotional intelligence, and great relational skills to navigate your organizational dynamics in ways that bring out the best in your people, services and organization. It’s a tough call. And it’s exactly what a leadership development coach helps you to do - in a way that feels right and good to you.

 

I’ve been helping people build these skills long before I became a leadership development coach, advisor and educator.

 

Over thirty years ago, I began laying the foundations of my leadership development coaching practice as a social worker and psychotherapist. That developed my deep listening skills and desire to work with leaders, aspiring leaders, and change agents interested in making our world a kinder, more compassionate and equitable place.

 

My background in psychotherapy, my depth and breadth of experience, and passion for group dynamics led me to learn more about organizational dynamics. These qualities will support you to think and grow into your leadership role. You’ll take up your authority with confidence, compassion and competence with my coaching.
